Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) are intense, millisecond-long flashes of radio waves detected from space. While most FRBs have only been detected once, some sources emit multiple bursts over time - "repeating FRBs." There is no clear consensus on the cause of FRBs.

As of January 16, 2025, 63 repeating FRB sources have been confirmed.

This market resolves according to the number of distinct repeating FRB sources listed in the CHIME/FRB repeater catalog (https://www.chime-frb.ca/repeaters) on January 1, 2027.
