Will the USD/ARS exchange rate reach 1,500 pesos per dollar or higher by March 31, 2026?

Context: The Argentine peso has been under pressure despite stabilization efforts. As of November 14, 2025, the rate was 1,403.68 ARS/USD, and the peso has weakened 40.62% over the past 12 months. The government maintains a managed floating exchange rate system with widening bands. External vulnerabilities and electoral uncertainty have intensified exchange rate volatility.

Resolution:

This market resolves YES if the USD/ARS exchange rate reaches 1,500 or higher at any point on or before March 31, 2026, according to Trading Economics or the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA).

Resolves NO if the rate remains below 1,500.

Resolves N/A if Argentina gives up the peso or otherwise formally commits to a USD-linked exchange rate like the UAE.
