This market resolves YES if the Credit Card Competition Act (or substantially similar legislation requiring large credit card issuers to enable at least two unaffiliated payment networks) is signed into law by the President of the United States before January 1, 2027. This includes passage as a standalone bill or as a provision within a larger bill (e.g., an appropriations or omnibus package).

This market resolves NO if no such legislation is signed into law by January 1, 2027.

I will use my best judgment to determine whether enacted legislation qualifies as "substantially similar" to the Credit Card Competition Act as introduced in the 118th Congress (S.1838/H.R.3881). I will not trade in this market.
