Welcome to Manifold Next Word Prediction Model Experiment 2.
The prompt is:. Write a coherent ten-word sentence in reverse word order.
This is day 1 which will decide the 10th word in the sentence. Over the next 10 days there will be a market to predict the next preceding word in the sentence.
This market will close at an arbitrary/ random time the following day.
This market will not resolve to 'Other'.
Thanks for participating!
@Tumbles Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is a village in Wales and also the name of a species of soil bacteria.
@GordanKnott We could make a fun sentence that ends with rationalussy! Plus I bet it down after adding it LOL
@Tumbles I think rationalussy is the most obvious one to be considered a "nonsense word", though. The two I submitted are established words (or at least established names) with an agreed-upon meaning.
@PlasmaBallin I would concede that rationalussy isn't technically a real word, but I would rather fun fake words win than lame real words.
I'm not saying your words are against the rules! I just don't like them :P but that's also allowed
@Tumbles Rationalussy is complicated, but it's not nonsense, ironically. I still wouldn't be confident enough in understanding it's meaning to use it in a sentence
@GordanKnott Just to clarify, this isn't resolving Other, right? It says it won't in the description but the percentage of yes shares on Other is confusing me.. did I miss something?
@bug It literally can't resolve other. Special other options on Manifold that other options are split out of don't work that way. If you bid YES on other, you are betting that an option that doesn't exist yet will be chosen. If you bid NO on other, you are betting that one of the current options will be selected.
Oh nevermind, I understand the thing now. Thanks!
@bug I don't understand your question. This market is going to resolve to a single option. Either that option has already been added, or it will be added in the future
