@VictorLi "oversaturated job markets" tend to result in more people going to school, not less. Also there's a 4 year lead time, minimum, more like 6.
Also, it's absolutely not clear that coding ais will reduce demand for software engineers. It's still possible that ai code-assistants will be like steam engines, dramatically increasing productivity leading to a paradoxical increase in demand for engineers
