Resolution criteria
Resolves “Yes” if the Trump administration stops all sales of weaponry/ammunition for Ukraine entirely. This includes a pause in sales.
Resolves “No” If purchases continue (Including from other countries on behalf of Ukraine)
‼️Any announcement by the Trump administration will not be considered until there is proof that their decision goes ahead.‼️
This will be resolved at the end of the year, unless there is a reason to resolve sooner.
Considerations
European Allies: Led by Germany, Poland, Denmark, and the Netherlands, these countries purchase weapons directly from US manufacturers to send to Ukraine, often to replace equipment they have already donated.
NATO Coordination: A new structure is in place where the US sells directly to NATO allies, who then quickly transfer the arms to Ukraine
‼️ The sales to Poland to use on its own territory do NOT result in “Yes”.‼️
Poland: Acting as a key partner in purchasing US equipment (e.g., Abrams tanks, HIMARS, Apache helicopters) to support its own modernisation and Ukraine's defence.
