They often say that newcomers can quickly spot the unique characteristics of a new environment—whether it's a company, a club, or a community—before gradually blending into its culture. That was certainly my experience when I joined Manifold about six months ago.

Upon arrival, expecting to find predictions on various public concerns, I was immediately struck by the numerous discussions and markets focusing on specific individuals—three utterly unknown to me and one I believed had long since passed away.

Bewildered by this intense fascination, I created a poll to see which of these four individuals captivated your attention the most. It's now clear: Eliezer Yudkowsky is Manifold's biggest darling. When you meet in person, consider offering him a beer or a coffee as a token of your interest!
