To count, there must be at least four people playing and they have to play for real, you can't just cheat it for the market :)
It doesn't have to occur before midnight to count for a day, just early enough in Pacific time that a reasonable person could say that it's occurring on that day.

@AmmonLam Honestly I don't know! Probably at least half of the days in the second half of the month, but only a quarter of the days in the first half of the month.
