Will I like the Rabbit R1 better than the Humane Pin?

@qqii I don't have it yet! I'll let you all know when it's delivered. I'm trying not to be influenced by the reviews but so obviously Humane isn't getting glowing reviews. There haven't really been R1 reviews so not sure what to think there yet.

My bet is the r1 will flop hard whereas the Pin will be underwhelming, so over a NO

@Nikos I've been pretty active on their discord and from the live demos posted by the CEO, the response time, as well as the quality of the responses, are both embarrassingly bad

A small note: since YES -> R1 > Pin you might want to rename the market which currently has them listed in the opposite order. Maybe something like “Will I like the Rabbit R1 more than the humane AI pin?”

Very interesting! The R1 having a screen seems pretty useful. But at that point are you just carrying around two phones? And from the R1 keynote I got the vibe that not a lot of features are currently finished. If they can get all the integrations with other apps working, I bet it would be good. But I don’t think that is going to ship.

The ai pin being audio only is intriguing. Do you use voice assistants a lot already? I’m also curious what other features the pin will be shipping with. My worry is that it will be just a push-to-talk-with-chatGPT button. But then again , that would be pretty useful!

I’m excited to see what your outcome is! Are you also getting an Apple Vision Pro? I’d be curious to see which of the three you end up using more a month in :P
