I was in the first batch of the r1, so hopefully I’ll get both devices around April.
Resolves YES if I like the rabbit better.
Resolves NO if I like the Humane pin better.
I’ll make sure to use each for a week before deciding, and test both products rigorously.

The Humane one will be shorter:
Setting up the pin was an absolute nightmare. Navigating the display is worse than the Rabbit. I was finally able to put in my password and it immediately said it needed to cool down for a few minutes (before I’d even used it!).
I tried to use it multiple times and it gave the incorrect answer for ~50% of all questions. The feedback time is also insanely slow.
The price to quality ratio for this thing is dramatically worse than the R1.
I had exceedingly low expectations for both the R1 and the Humane but the Humane turned out way worse than I was expecting, even after watching the reviews prior to it arriving.
This is resolving in favor of the R1.
@Nikos It's honestly just awful. I try to remain optimistic about new technology but there was honestly nothing good I could say about it

I was prompted to setup a Humane account yesterday.
I also got a notification that my R1 has shipped.
Hopefully both get delivered soon. I’ll update as things progress

@qqii I don't have it yet! I'll let you all know when it's delivered. I'm trying not to be influenced by the reviews but so obviously Humane isn't getting glowing reviews. There haven't really been R1 reviews so not sure what to think there yet.

Comparing that to the reviews of the Humane Pin, the R1 has similar functions but also comes with a whimsical interface.

@Nikos I've been pretty active on their discord and from the live demos posted by the CEO, the response time, as well as the quality of the responses, are both embarrassingly bad
