YES
This will resolve true if, as of September 30th 2022, my primary residence is in New York City. Points in favor of remaining in NYC: - The majority of my friends are here, as are several family members - There are the obvious advantages to living in a big city - Especially since I don't drive - Moving is logistically somewhat difficult - The rent where I now live is well below market rate Points against remaining in NYC: - There are the obvious disadvantages to living in a big city - Practical considerations aside, I dislike big cities in general, and NYC in particular. - The best periods of my life have lined up pretty well with the periods when I didn't live here; I'm not sure this is a coincidence. Miscellaneous considerations: - At present, I have no concrete plans to move. - However, I have moved to a different state on fairly short notice before. That time it was because I got a job offer there. It was a good decision in retrospect and I'd do something similar again if the opportunity arises. - Over the past decade, I've moved from NYC to Baltimore in 2015, back to NYC in 2016, to Des Moines in 2019, and back to NYC in 2021.
