Check the list of Cabinet members/officials here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabinet_of_the_United_States#Current_Cabinet_and_Cabinet-rank_officials

  • Please note that I'm including both the 15 "principal officers" and 10 "other members," for 25 total members (at least at the time of writing this description).

Interim appointments don't count. If Trump cycles through a whole Cabinet without getting Senate approval for any of them I will just resolve to 0. Ditto if he just doesn't appoint a Cabinet at all (lol).

Any Senate-confirmed members whose posts are eliminated WILL count toward the total, because they are effectively being laid off. Superficial changes (e.g., changing the title of the head of the EPA from "Administrator" to "Secretary") will not count toward the total as long as the same individual is kept in charge, the organization they lead fulfills largely the same function, and it remains a cabinet-level position.

The Vice President counts, even though they don't need Senate confirmation.

Deaths will not count.

Important: Only ONE of the possible answers can resolve YES.

Please add an option for "> 6"

bought Ṁ10 NO

@becauseyoudo A little embarrassed to admit this, but I don't see the button to add a new answer and I'm hesitant to change "6" to ">6" because that could be unfair to anyone who's already betted. Do you know where in the UI the button is? Thanks.

@Finn But I do agree that a ">x" option is would be useful here

@Finn I don't think it would be unfair. "> 6" is another option and doesn't change the probability of any other option in this question format. Try typing "> 6" into the "Search answers" bar just above the options and check if an "add" button appears there.

It's just giving me "7 answers hidden by search." And I was talking about editing the "6" option to ">6" being unfair, not adding a new option to select.

@Finn There's an option when you create the market "Who can add new answers later?" and by default it is set to "No One" which is probably not ideal. @Manifold One of the moderators might be able to help you change that.

@becauseyoudo Unfortunately, there is no way to change it and you will have to make a new market. Due to how the liquidity and AMM work we can't just add an "other" option once the market is created which is required to add answers.

@Manifold Thanks for the quick response.

Just to clarify, only one will resolve as YES?
