This will resolve exactly according to the results of /Gabrielle/which-states-will-be-won-by-the-dem-540e6b923486 . Individual results will resolve as we know the answers.

The definition of "rust belt" is a bit broad, and often means a geographic region that doesn't exactly line up with state borders; I included all states that have regions on the WP list.

Note that there is some overlap with both of these questions:

I didn't know Missouri was considered part of the Rust Belt.

@PlasmaBallin The state as a whole isn't usually, but St. Louis is. The boundaries of the rust belt don't really line up with states very well. Parts of NY are definitely rust belt, but NYC isn't; but the state result is mostly about NYC. The right choices for the list seemed non-obvious. It might have made sense to drop NY in part because that result is a pretty foregone conclusion and the extra degree of freedom on this question isn't that valuable.

@EvanDaniel Yeah, I don't think there's an unambiguous list of which states contain parts of the Rust belt, but I looked up a map of the Rust Belt and found exactly what you said about St. Louis being part of it (the orange part being the rust belt):

@EvanDaniel I don't think there's any need to drop NY just because the results are obvious. There are six states on this list where the result is a forgone conclusion, and New York is one of the states that I think is pretty much universally considered to contain part of the rust belt.

@GCS Thanks! I'll be adding a few more of this style to cover more of the country. I'm hoping this sort of question can help show some of the structure beyond just per-state results. Let me know if you have other suggestions!
