When I was growing up there were two things that would happen while you were driving.
Punch buggy. This is where the first person to see a new Volkswagen bug would be considered to have the right to punch anyone else in the car as long as they yelled out "punch buggy".
"Perdiddle" which is where if you saw a car with only one headlight and the other is burned out. You say "perdiddle" and you would gain something, although I forgotten exactly what.
