Thank you all for coming. I have no idea if this market actually inspired the attempts that were made, but I tried my best.

The effort of @ahalekelly has met my standards for this market, no other pre-registered attempts are ongoing so I am highly likely to resolve at closure.

Man, for the last hour or so I only walked at 91 steps per minute or so, with this speed the whole thing would take me 18h. Longer than I hoped for.

@justifieduseofFallibilism What's your step count up to so far? Looks like you have about 16 hours left.

@Eliza I think I had around 19.000 at that time. Did like 28.000 then did the calculation that it would take longer than expected and decided to stop.

This market will close and resolve based on "Manifold Time" -- if you have plans to walk 100,000 steps that are within a single day in 2023, in your own time zone, share your plans and time zone before this market closes.

@Eliza If you are planning an attempt on the final day, please pre-register the attempt or it might not be counted if your report is not in before the market closes. I could wait for a delayed report if it is pre-registered.
