The son of LeBron James is Bronny James, who was at the time expected to join the 2024 NBA draft and make it to an NBA team for the 2024-25 season. (He did, but hasn't played in any regular season games yet.)

Based on the combination of title+description, my judgement is that this should resolve No, because LeBron did not retire during the 2023-24 season -- he "still played" and has now "waited to retire" until after his son is part of the league.

I'm assuming you want the resolution date to be after the end of the 2023-24 regular season?
