Resolution criteria
This market resolves to YES if, at any point before January 1, 2050 (11:59 PM GMT on December 31, 2049), an individual who is an official member of the "Restore Britain" political party (or a direct legal successor party) is appointed as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
This market resolves to NO if no member of the party has been appointed Prime Minister by this deadline, or if the party is permanently dissolved without any direct successor prior to the deadline without ever securing the office.
A coalition government in which Restore Britain is a minor partner does not qualify unless the appointed Prime Minister is himself/herself a member of Restore Britain.
The official source of truth will be the UK Government's list of Prime Ministers via the official 10 Downing Street website or UK Parliament official records.
Background
Restore Britain is a right-wing, ethno-nationalist political party in the United Kingdom. It was founded as a pressure group in June 2025 and officially registered as a political party in February 2026.
The party is led by Rupert Lowe, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Great Yarmouth, who formed the movement after splitting from Reform UK following disputes with its leadership.
The party positions itself to the right of Reform UK, campaigning on platforms of strict border control, low taxation, and traditional social principles.
