Resolution Criteria

This question will resolve as YES if, at any point before January 1, 2050, criminal proceedings are formally initiated in an officially recognized, legally binding judicial body (such as the International Criminal Court, an officially state-sanctioned international tribunal, or a sovereign nation's courts) against world leaders, government officials, international public health representatives (e.g., from the WHO), or pharmaceutical executives for crimes against humanity, genocide, or related offenses stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic response, with Reiner Fuellmich or a legal entity he founded (e.g., the Corona Investigative Committee) officially acting as a prosecuting party, legal counsel, or co-counsel.

Fine Print

  • Mock Trials and Citizens' Courts: Unofficial, self-styled, symbolic, or non-binding tribunals—including mock trials, public opinion hearings (such as Fuellmich's 2022 "Grand Jury Proceeding by the Peoples' Court of Public Opinion"), or sovereign-citizen-led assemblies—will not qualify for a YES resolution. The tribunal must possess actual state-sanctioned, treaty-sanctioned, or legally binding judicial authority.

  • Civil Litigation: Standard civil lawsuits for monetary damages (rather than criminal prosecution for crimes against humanity or genocide) do not qualify.

  • Death of Fuellmich: Reiner Fuellmich need not be alive for the question to resolve as YES, if a trial meeting the criteria above is initiated by a legal organization he founded before the deadline.

Background Info

Reiner Fuellmich is a German former attorney and prominent figure in the COVID-19 skeptic movement. In 2020, he co-founded the Berlin-based Corona Investigative Committee (CIC). He gained global attention by proposing a "Nuremberg 2.0" campaign, promising to coordinate a massive international class-action lawsuit and tribunal to prosecute political, scientific, and corporate elites for "crimes against humanity" in connection with COVID-19 lockdowns, mandates, and vaccines.

Instead of realizing this tribunal, Fuellmich was arrested at Frankfurt airport in October 2023 after being deported from Mexico. In April 2025, the Göttingen Regional Court in Germany sentenced Fuellmich to three years and nine months in prison for embezzling approximately €700,000 of donated funds from the Corona Committee Foundation. He remains incarcerated, while his supporters maintain that the prosecution was politically motivated to silence his activism.
