NiceGit is 'source control for normal people'. Its goal is to make source control accessible to the millions of product development professionals who currently find it too difficult.
More information can be found on our website https://nicegit.com and company LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/nicegit/. (The website is overdue a significant upgrade, but the information is fundamentally accurate.)
NiceGit is based in Melbourne, Australia. For the sake of this market, all financial figures are in US dollars.
Some background:
The project is currently in early closed alpha release with a single-figure number of users
I've been working full time on the project since February. I have some excellent advisors and a part-time / fractional CFO, but it's currently a team of one in terms of hands on work.
I've had positive conversations with a range of potential investors. The current plan is to raise a seed round as early as possible in 2026. I've yet to formally pitch to investors or to finalise the size of the round.
NiceGit has progressed to the final round of applications for Startmate Accelerator (one of Australia's highest profile accelerators). This would come with ~80k of investment at a valuation of ~$1m. A decision on acceptance is expected within the next week.
Pricing is yet to be finalised. Potential users have typically cited an expected price in the range of $20-30 per user per month.
I will do my best to answer reasonable questions in the comments. There may be information not yet in the public domain that I will be unable to provide.
Options will be resolved YES by myself as soon as they are definitively achieved. Any options not achieved by the close date will be resolved NO.
