Resolution criteria

This market resolves YES if former President Joe Biden dies at any point during 2026. Resolution will be determined by major news sources reporting his death. The market resolves NO if Biden survives through December 31, 2026.

Background

Biden was born on November 20, 1942, making him 83 years old as of January 2026. He became the first president to turn 80 years old while in office. Biden's office announced he has been diagnosed with an "aggressive" form of prostate cancer which has spread to his bones, but said the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, "which allows for effective management." Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men in the U.S. after skin cancer, and can often be treated successfully.
