Resolves YES if the number of blog posts that I publish on my blog, Chromatic Conflux, in 2023 is at least 10, and NO otherwise. Multi-part blog posts count as separate if published separately. If I retract a blog post, it still counts as long as I meant to hit publish on it.
Blog Posts By Year (for background)
2019: 56 (weekly from Feb, plus a few bonuses)
2020: 34 (weekly until July, only 4 after)
2021: 9
2022: 8 [Originally read "7 so far, probably 8 (ambitiously 9 or more)"]
@RobertCousineau was waiting for this to happen
We’re at 5 and I’m fairly busy. 6 for the year seems like the mode, 7 would be optimistic, and 8-10 feels really hard. But you never know…
@Conflux Some specifics:
I was originally gonna release a blogpost along with the release of my nice numbers video, but I was too ashamed of the video quality. I’m planning to do another version of the video, and if I do that within 2023, probably another post
I’ve had another edition of One-Sentence Book Reviews at about 50% ready for awhile now. I’ve promised myself that I won’t spend “productive time” on that, but if I’m in the mood to spend a couple aggregate hours writing one-sentence book reviews, that could happen.
Idk what the other three posts would be. I do sometimes have ideas though
@Tossup It’s not a particular goal of mine, but maybe if it’s close, I’d try to make it happen. I won’t publish garbage to have 10.
So, we're still at 3 with the year about 60% done. However, I have two more which are essentially ready (there has to be a bit of editing first), and combined with other ideas I have, I actually anticipate a total of 6-7 posts by the end of August! (8 if I'm extremely productive, but don't hold your breath.)
The other 3-4, though, will be difficult, as I won't have as much time to devote to the blog once the school year begins. But we'll have to see...
