Resolves YES if SM64 is known to be beatable with 120 stars in less than 13 A presses on any official release. More information here: https://ukikipedia.net/wiki/A_Button_Challenge
Most people familiar with the game believe the A press in Bowser in the Fire Sea is theoretically savable, but it's a very complicated level that has seen slow progress for 7 years now. Even though a slow strategy seems likely to work, people are waiting to tas the full level until they find a faster strategy, which would be likely to be very complicated. There are also 12 other a presses with varying degrees of promise, but none currently have any serious plans for a save.
Generally, I will count an A press as being "saved" when it is completely console verified (usually these are live streamed on twitch). If this isn't possible (the strategy takes too long or the optimal version becomes a platform without easy console verification), I will count it as saved when a video is released that shows the entire section in which the A press was saved. In situations like this where a console verification is not done, I will go with my opinion of the community consensus on whether the A press count is 13 or something lower. If the resolution is contested, I will sell my shares before resolving the market.
The new save must make a 120 star completion possible in under 12 A presses; for example, if an A press is saved in THI, but only on the US version, this wouldn't trigger a YES resolution, since every version of the game would still take at least 13 A presses for 120 star. However, if 5 A presses were saved on the US version, this would count, because now the US version is the optimal platform.
A star going from 0.5x -> 0x would not count as a save, since it wouldn't save an A press off of the full game total, but a 1x -> 0.5x save probably would.
