I attended the officewarming party earlier this year, but only because I was already traveling to the area for a different engagement. With some discussion of a possible Manifold conference, will I attend another Manifold-related event this year?
A "Manifold-related event" is an event that is either organized primarily by Manifold, or has Manifold or the Manifold user community as its primary focus.
Clarifications:
The event must not be part of an event relating to a broader area in order to be considered. For example, a panel session about Manifold at a broader conference would not be considered, only the broader conference itself.
There must be some degree of pre-planning involved, for example, invitations or an agenda.
Attendance must be in person at a particular location.
Some of the aforementioned criteria are subjective, and I am happy to clarify them in the comments.
If I attend a Manifold-related event after the creation of this market on any date in 2023 (using local time at the location of the event), then this market resolves to YES. Otherwise, this market resolves to NO.
I may provide liquidity subsidies but will not otherwise trade in this market.

Because the date is determined based on local time, I will resolve at 12:00 UTC ("anywhere on Earth" standard).
I don't think I'll be attending ManiFest. After attending several events this year I think I need to limit how many I attend in order to place more focus on other parts of my life.
Note that this is not an automatic NO resolution as "Manifold-related event" encompasses more than just ManiFest.
There now appears to be a website for the Manifold conference (ManiFest) and plans are being solidified. I can confirm that the dates (September 22-24) do not conflict with any other plans I have currently. However, I am still waiting for more information about programming to decide if I actually want to go, especially given the ticket price (not making any judgment on whether the price is appropriate for the event).
@Conflux I live in the Los Angeles area, and while it isn't exactly difficult for me to visit the Bay Area it's not something I do often, outside of one or two events annually.
@CollectedOverSpread Is your life schedule flexible enough that you’d likely do a trip to the Bay Area if there was a Manifold conference?
@Conflux I suppose so? Although it would depend on the sort of programming available and whether it conflicts with any other events I plan to attend.
