I follow Metaverse-related things fairly closely, and I'd like to be more plugged into the community. The games also seem fun. I like the idea of interacting with people in the Metaverse but I don't know of any close friends with a VR device.

I might end up regretting the purchase decision depending on the circumstances of the Oculus Quest 3 that is rumored to come out in 2023.

No regrets! I don't use it that often, but I'm happy enough when I do use it to merit the cost. It also helped me to be more in sync with VR chatter & trends, which I find fun.

@CarsonGale I purchased the quest and have enjoyed it thus far, unless I have a really bad experience or I get bored of it very quickly I would anticipate a yes resolution.

Bought down No a little: Beatsaber is going to function regardless of what new things come out, and that's been enough of a "killer app" that nobody I know has regretted their purchase.
