Which YouTube channels will post their first video that primarily focuses on AI Safety in 2026.

The video must be primarily about AI Safety, Control, Alignment, Governance and associated existential/societal scale risks. I would include Gradual Disempowerment-style risks, AI-enabled coups, extreme power concentration and value lock in etc as long as they are clearly recognisable as such. It must be a full length video, not a short/promo.

If it wouldn't feel out of place in major AIS channels/podcasts/forums/venue/training program syllabus then it counts (e.g. Rational Animations, Rob Miles, 80k, LW/EA/AlignmentForum, BlueDot, MATS etc..). Links, references and calls to action to relevant AI Safety orgs aren't strictly necessarily but would be a strong signal.

Videos about AI progress generally, AI bubble concerns or IP disputes will not count. Broader social concerns around increased inequality, job losses, autonomous weapons wouldn't count unless significantly connected to a broader loss of control/catastrophic risk.

I'm open to adding more channels, but I want to filter suggestions. The channel must not have posted content on this previously and have 1m+ subscribers. I asked an LLM for general science communication channels to source this list, I might consider other genres if they seem relevant - but I don't want completely disconnected/random stuff on here.

The creator may have made AI safety related videos on a different channel as long as there's a materially different audience e.g. Rob Miles creating a video for these channels would be valid.

Kurzgesagt has some videos that feel very close, but I'll err on the side of including them.
