I reloaded the page. Someone had traded on the market I just made, so surely I would have earned something.

Still nothing. My heart skipped a beat*. I navigated to the trading modal and hovered over the (i) icon next to "Fees".

It was then I realized, to my absolute shock and horror...

Creator fees are gone! All mana from market fees is now going to Manifold directly.

Will creator fees return, or be replaced by an equivalent system**, before the end of 2024? Or are we saying goodbye to them for now?

* Dramatization.

** An equivalent system would be some system that reimburses market creators with mana, roughly proportional to the amount of activity that their markets receive.
