Can be released in any model level. Has to be reasonably accurate compared to a cuff. Would need to have some usable diagnostic utility and not be a gimmick. FDA approval, etc.

Is a correct reading of "hypertension: yes or no" good enough? Or does it need to provide numbers closer to the precision of a cuff?

@LoganTurner to reliably diagnose without a load of false positives I would expect it to need some sort of numerical accuracy. I would accept it somehow giving bucketed readings of pre hypertension, stage 1, etc if they were reliable or actionable. It would need to have more than 2 categories so there was some differentiation of level.
