how did it get stolen? what is your relation to them? any proof that they did it?
I'm staying in an apartment with an old couple. The thief was known by a guy who I met at a hostel and that's how I found this place to stay with no passport, because he's friends with the old couple. He tricked me by saying the old guy wanted to talk to me in the other room. When I looked back, he was reaching into my bag. On a couple other occasions, I noticed my cash going missing after he visited. It wasn't like, caught on video or something, if that's what you're asking.
@BenjaminIkuta yeah u probably have to do it yourself. you would need to locate them and extract the money from them somehow, though it's probably been used to pay off debts or whatever it is. i dont think the police will help you unless you have something more, cuz currently its just your word vs his. it's just difficult to parse out who to believe.
EDIT: i believe you, i just dont think the police will be able to take action without something more. I could be 100% wrong though.
