Some relevant betting info:
- We've never been in an apartment before.
- I hate my brother's stupid face (we look very different)
- he has the bigger room
- we have some aesthetic disagreements: [REDACTED]
- he wants to capture gains from trade and I offer unfair prices bc the only trades worth doing are ones where you scam the other person (i've learned this from manifold's high interest rate)
- the apartment is 15 min away from school, house was 50 min away on a good day, we're close to all our friends and to everything cool about this city, and the apartment is pretty nice all things considered
- it's expensive, that's the main disadvantage compared to living rent-free

will modify the description if new info comes up.

I can make him regret ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Whatever minor sads you may have about moving into your own place and doing your own laundry or whatever, is nothing compared to the regret you would feel if a year from now you were Still Living With Your Parents.

predicted NO

no chance

you might second guess living together? but 10/10 you won't regret moving out on your own.

(maybe another market for whether you'll decide to keep being roommates with one another after x time? ๐Ÿ™ƒ sounds like you have a few potential points of friction though imo nothing major)

predicted NO

we do not have friction, me hating his stupid face is a joke on the fact that we look ~identical, and we have jabs but no conflict so far. I did update the description to mention that the main reason I could imagine us regretting the move is if we end up thinking it's more expensive than it's worth
