Husband moved to the bay area for his dream job (/eeeeee/in-hindsight-will-my-husband-moving ) and we flew back and forth on the weekends for ~10 months. The plan was originally that he would be down here for ~1 year but it became evident that he wants to stay in this job, in person, so I've now moved down here as well. I would really like to move back home to be back around our family and friends in <hometown>, but my friends all think that I'm really going to love the culture in the bay. Husband also really loves the culture in the bay. I suspect the reason we'd move back is if his field is no longer so poppin or if we have kids and really want to be around our families for support.
