The supreme court overrides a "Basic Law" or an amendment to one that was passed in the Knesset, and the government refuses to accept the decision.
At least 3 major newspapers in Israel report that Israel is in a constitutional crisis.

It's funny how just one day after this question resolves the supreme court decides to overturn an amendment to a basic law, possibly throwing Israel into a constitutional crisis

The recent terror attacks from Hamas have caused in my view more unity in the Israeli public, so I think a constitutional crisis is much less likely now. It's also highly likely many of the supreme court decisions will be postponed until after the war.

Leading Ultra-orthodox Rabbis call the government to "not accept any higher authority than that of the majority", hinting that they should not accept the supreme court's decision if it decides to override the reasonalensess clause.
