Trump Warns Iran of Bombing Without Nuclear Deal
President Trump has warned Iran of severe consequences, including an unprecedented bombing campaign, if they do not agree to a nuclear deal. This statement follows Iran's rejection of direct negotiations with the United States. The US is currently pressuring Iran through diplomatic channels, with the UAE and Oman offering to mediate indirect talks. The situation remains tense as both countries navigate the complexities of the nuclear agreement.
Will America bomb Iran before 2026? Any amount of bombs being dropped resolves YES, even a single missel strike.
Update 2025-06-04 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): To resolve YES:
It will count if America causes any bombs to go off in Iran. This is not restricted to bombs/missiles fired directly from American aircraft.
America must take credit for the action.
Update 2025-06-09 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The creator specified that a scenario involving American-manufactured bombs purchased by Israel and dropped from Israeli planes would resolve NO.
Update 2025-06-17 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): For covert or deniable actions where the US does not officially take credit:
The market will resolve YES if there is a media consensus that America was responsible for the strike.
The market will not resolve YES if a major media outlet is skeptical of US involvement.
Update 2025-06-17 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): To clarify the criterion for covert actions, a major legacy media outlet's skepticism would be required to prevent a YES resolution.

This is a report on what is most likely to happen in Iran, as early as this weekend, according to Israeli insiders and American officials I’ve relied upon for decades. It will entail heavy American bombing.
I have been told that the White House has signed off on an all-out bombing campaign in Iran, but the ultimate targets, the centrifuges buried at least eighty meters below the surface at Fordow, will, as of this writing, not be struck until the weekend. The delay has come at Trump’s insistence because the president wants the shock of the bombing to be diminished as much as possible by the opening of Wall Street trading on Monday. (Trump took issue on social media this morning with a Wall Street Journal report that said he had decided on the attack on Iran, writing that he had yet to decide on a path forward.)

@JaredAsh Are you talking about raising prices via tariffs?
Or failing to end the war in Ukraine?
Or cutting medicaid in the BBB?
@TiredCliche "I'm putting the people on notice that are coming here from Syria, as part of this mass migration, that if I win, if I win, they're going back.” -Donald Trump, September 2015.
@JaredAsh Yeah, maybe. Could just be inept leadership in Ukraine -- a bad mental model that Putin really wants to stop and Zelensky is the warmonger, thus we need to cut support for Ukraine to end the war.
@PeterMillerc030 there's no denying that Russia started the war and the war won't end even if we cut the funding to Ukraine. Failing to end the war in Ukraine though isn't a choice (isn't by choice) he made while the other things you listed above are.
Significant developments have been reported by The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and ABC News:
- President Trump has approved military strike plans against Iran, though no final execution order has been issued at this time.
- Iran has issued warnings to neighboring states in the Persian Gulf, stating that U.S. military bases on their territory would be considered legitimate targets should the United States initiate an attack.
- A full evacuation of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem is reportedly under serious discussion. Plans would involve a military-assisted evacuation.
@FergusArgyll Is it possible for a nation to surrender to another nation that it's not formally at war with?
