It's not like you get to choose what kind of plane you get booked on. Realistically, I think almost 100% of people would get on a plane instead of losing the fare for their ticket.

@chris You absolutely can choose your plane when you book your flight. You can filter your search for aircraft on most travel sites like Kayak.
