Resolves NO @BTE

This one can also resolve NO. We had seven hurricanes this season and I don't see four more of them forming within the next two days.

This is a very badly written question, and it looks like it misrepresents what the NC state weather agency forecasted (they forecasted 11-15 named storms, not 11-15 hurricanes). We will obviously not see 12 hurricanes this season, and therefore No is a no-brainer.

@Domer I assumed the question is about the Atlantic only since the description references it, but we are just now around the peak of the season with 5 hurricanes so far in the Atlantic and we could see a sixth within a week with Invest97L if it comes hurricane Nigel. So, yes it looks very unlikely to me also.

2 for 11 (Don and Franklin).

Maybe 3 for 11 if Idalia becomes a hurricane. Going by CSU's last forecast of 9, I'm betting NO.

@parhizj I just realized this too. I had assumed the question was about named storms.

@NicoDelon I’m pretty sure he means Atlantic season though.

predictedYES

@NicoDelon Yes Atlantic season only. This was based on the NC weather service forecast and I assume they wouldn’t be counting Typhoons in the pacific. So only Atlantic hurricanes.
