Resolves YES if the value of 1 ETH = 1 BTC at any point between now and the end of 2025.
Recent updates to the Ethereum blockchain away from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake has given the second largest cryptocurrency by market share the advantage of being significantly more energy efficient than its larger and better known rival. Will this change be the catalyst that drives the value of ETH and BTC to converge until ultimately hitting parity and inverting?

@ahalekelly Thanks for the comment, clarified the title. I will create a question for the market cap version too though, because they are definitely distinct events.
This market is simply a long ETH, short BTC trade. If you think proof of stake is a big deal, or that proof of work could be banned or disincentivized sooner than later, this seems to be an inevitable outcome. There is strong case to be made that ETH is the only one of the two that has any intrinsic value.
