Market will be/was closed on both of those dates. Will the future reference value be the Dec 29, 2023 close, or the Jan 2, 2024 open? And the past comparison against the Dec 30, 2022 close ($2.067 trillion) or the Jan 3, 2023 open ($2.0725 trillion)? I know the difference is tiny, but best to avoid an edge case mess, right?
