At resolution time,
If Rock has the highest percentage, resolve to Paper.
If Paper has the highest percentage, resolve to Scissors.
If Scissors has the highest percentage, resolve to Rock.

Market closes at Nov 1, 11:59pm. After market closes, I will roll random number N from 1 to 48, and the resolution will be based on the prices N hours before Nov 1, 11:59pm.

In case of a tie, be it a two-way or three-way tie, resolves to 100% Rock.

1000 Mana Prize (sent via managram) for the person holding the largest amount of YES shares on the highest percentage option at resolution time.

  • Update 2025-10-30 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The 1000 Mana Prize is awarded to the person (excluding the market creator) holding the largest amount of YES shares on the highest percentage option at resolution time.

  • Update 2025-10-31 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): N will be an integer (a whole number from 1 to 48), meaning only 48 specific points in time need to be considered when determining the resolution.

  • Update 2025-11-01 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The N hours adjustment (randomly rolled from 1 to 48) determines both:

    • The resolution time for determining which option has the highest percentage

    • The time for awarding the 1000 Mana Prize (based on who holds the largest amount of YES shares at that adjusted time)

  • Update 2025-11-02 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The random number N has been rolled and is 48. This means the resolution will be based on the prices 48 hours before Nov 1, 11:59pm (which is Oct 30, 11:59pm).

  • Update 2025-11-02 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Correction to previous update: The random number N rolled is 1 (not 48 as previously stated). The resolution will be based on the prices 1 hour before Nov 1, 11:59pm.

  • Update 2025-11-02 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The market will now use a self-resolving format as demonstrated in the linked example market.

  • Update 2025-11-02 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): @BorisBartlog will receive the 1000 Mana Prize based on their holdings 1 hour before market close (when N=1).

@traders New self resolving format

@traders Based on N=1, looks like this market should resolve to Rock. If anyone disagree let me know.

@AmmonLam While Scissors didn't resolve YES, I believe my holdings at an hour before close make me the winner of the 1000 Mana Prize...

@AmmonLam your random number is: 1

@AmmonLam you asked for a random integer between 1 and 48, inclusive. Coming up shortly!

Rolling Fairly Random 1-48 now.

Well
I think all the decision points are fixed now
Unless I miscounted, we are
3/48 likely to get Rock highest (resolves to Paper YES)
8/48 likely to get Scissor highest (resolves to Rock YES)
37/48 likely to get Paper highest (resolves to Scissor YES)

Is the 'resolution time' specified for the 1000 Mana Prize the usual market resolution time (as displayed), or does the random adjustment by N hours that is being used to determine market resolution also supersede that, and give a different 'resolution time' for purposes of awarding the 1000 Mana Prize?

@BorisBartlog the N hours determines the resolution time of the market as well as the award of the 1000 Mana Prize

Nice! glad someone figured out a good way to make a market like this

Will N be an integer, so that only 48 specific points in time need to be considered in analyzing the probability of various outcomes?

@BorisBartlog N is an integer

Is that 1000 Mana Prize for the person "other than yourself" or if you are that person, do you keep the prize?

@JussiVilleHeiskanen excluding myself.

opened a Ṁ20 YES at 20% order

What happens in case of a tie?
