Resolution criteria

  • This market is INDEPENDENT_MULTIPLE_CHOICE. Each option represents an individual and resolves independently as YES, NO, or N/A.

  • An individual's option resolves YES if, between January 1, 2027, and December 31, 2027 (11:59 PM ET), they are officially issued a subpoena (including congressional committee subpoenas, federal or state grand jury subpoenas, or subpoenas issued in federal/state civil or criminal legal proceedings).

  • Official public verification can come from congressional committee records, public court dockets, official statements from government agencies, or credible reporting by major news organizations (e.g., Reuters, AP, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post).

  • Edge cases:

    • If a subpoena is authorized or threatened but not actually formally issued/served during 2027, that does not qualify for YES.

    • Voluntary requests for transcribed interviews, letters requesting information, or informal invitations to testify do not count; the document must be an actual subpoena.

    • Subpoenas issued to an entity or business owned/controlled by the individual do not qualify unless the individual is explicitly named in the subpoena in their personal or executive capacity.

  • If an individual is not officially subpoenaed during calendar year 2027, their option resolves NO after December 31, 2027.

  • Anyone may add additional answers. Answers should clearly identify a specific, recognizable individual. Duplicate names or generic entries may be resolved N/A or deleted by the creator.

Background

  • 2027 marks the beginning of the 120th United States Congress following the 2026 midterm elections, which often shifts committee leadership and investigative oversight depending on party control of the House and Senate.

  • Elon Musk, Jared Kushner, Pete Hegseth, and Donald Trump Jr. have been prominent figures in federal administration appointments, government advisory roles, commercial transactions, or political campaigns, making them potential subjects of oversight or litigation.
