 I’m guessing it’s far less likely with Israel/Iran conflict. There’s been warnings for a ~week, I’m pretty sure they’ll issue a “do not travel” type thing soon.

If he wants to see just how fucked up his beard can get yeah he should go, some mohammad is gonna acid attack his ass if he shows up on that side of the world.  I'd be staying far from actual terrorists if I were him.
