I got a viral cold/respiratory infection on November 18th. Bad symptoms (sore throat, dry cough, plugged ears) lasted about a week, and I've had a lingering cough since then that's been getting milder with time.

This morning I woke up with one side of my throat feeling swollen and in pain when I swallow, like the symptoms are returning. I also seem to have slightly more mucus production.

Will the sickness come back and interrupt any of my travel/event plans over the next few weeks, or is this just a small hiccup in the road to recovery?

If I do not attend one of the several upcoming events, tasks, or appointments I'm planning to attend due to being sick or lack of sleep from being sick, or if I only partially attend an event due to illness, then this question will resolve YES

(will still resolve yes if I get sick with what appears to be a completely different illness, too)

The critical period I'm asking about expires December 18th.

(I am also triple vaxed against covid, rapid tested negative for covid three times over three symptomatic days, and the person I got this sickness from had his doctor test for covid, which came back negative. I assume that one was a pcr but I don't know for sure)
