Presidential elections are scheduled to be held in the Republic of China (Taiwan) on 13 January 2024.[1][2] Incumbent President Tsai Ing-wen of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), who was reelected in 2020, is ineligible to seek a third term. The winner of the 2024 presidential election is scheduled to be inaugurated on 20 May 2024.

As of 14 September 2023, four presidential candidates have been nominated and are included in mainstream opinion polls, making the election the most contested since 2000.
