Resolved
YES

As reported here: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/american-fighter-jet-f15e-downed-over-iran/

Resolves NA if it turns out no rescue operation was actually started, contrary to the preliminary reports.

Primary resolution source are official statements of US military, but other credible reporting may be used if there's room for doubt (in that case, I will wait at least several days for the fog of war to clear up before resolving).

For a YES resolution the pilot must arrive alive to a hospital/base or other relevant facility outside Iran.

The duration of the operation does not matter - if the operation takes several days, this may still resolve YES. Resolves NO only after the current operation is officially/per credible reporting called off or considered failed. Recovery outside of a military rescue operation (e.g. negotiated with the Iranian government) does not count. Though if the resolution hinges on technicalities of the exact definition of "recovery operation" or similar, I will strongly favor a YES resolution.

I will not bet on this market.

This is very likely a YES, but waiting for official confirmation of the recovered pilot's status. It seems all the reporting so far relies on "sources" instead of official statements, so as indicated, I'll wait for the dust to settle a bit.
