Each option will resolve independently based on the chronological order in which the remaining Millennium Prize Problems are solved.

• A problem is considered "solved" when there is broad consensus in the mathematical community that a correct proof or disproof (including a valid counterexample) has been established. The Clay Mathematics Institute (CMI) does not need to have officially awarded the $1 million prize for the problem to count as solved.

• Resolution Outcomes:

  • For an option representing "Problem A before Problem B":

    • Resolves to YES if Problem A is solved chronologically before Problem B.

    • Resolves to NO if Problem B is solved chronologically before Problem A.

    • Resolves to 50% if the accepted solutions for both problems are published on the same calendar day (UTC).

  • If there is substantial disagreement or ambiguity regarding whether a problem has been solved, or which was solved first, the resolution will be decided by a one-week community poll. The poll will include the options "A before B", "B before A", and "At the same time", and the market will resolve according to the poll's average outcome.
