Resolves YES if an official public source from the US government confirms before December 31st, 2023 that US DPICM cluster munitions are or will be delivered to Ukraine. Resolves NO otherwise.

DPICM cluster munitions are a type of artillery warhead that explode into smaller submunitions over a large area. They are prohibited by the Convention on Cluster Munitions, which neither the US, Russia, nor Ukraine has ratified. There have been rumors about requests for these weapons.

The official source must be from the White House, the State Department, the Department of Defense, or a high-ranking US official. The statement or verification must also be covered by at least two major US media outlets, such as CNN, Fox News, The New York Times, The Washington Post, etc.

If there is any doubt or disagreement about whether the US has publicly announced or confirmed its intention to provide Ukraine with DPICM cluster munitions, the market will resolve based on the best available evidence and common sense.
