Resolves YES if Robert Menendez appears on the NJ ballot for US Senator without a party affiliation. Otherwise, resolves NO.
@themightysalmon This can resolve NO, thank you! He has resigned and ended his run as an independent, meaning there is no way at all for him to appear on the NJ ballot. Thank you!
“Please be advised that as an Independent candidate for the U.S. Senate in this November’s election I am advising you that I wish to have my name withdrawn from the ballot[.]”

Seems legit. Apparently there was a lag between his resignation and his formal withdrawal from the ballot, but both have occurred, so resolves NO.
Two days before the deadline, Menendez has filed to put his name on the ballot. This doesn't mean it's certain he'll appear on the ballot, he has until August to withdraw. But this preserves his chances so he can see what happens at his trial. Doesn't seem like the kind of guy who backs down though... I wonder if he'd run as an Independant purely out of spite?
@mint He has no shame. And the DNC hasn’t called on him to resign. They won’t campaign hard against him because they’d be hypocrites. They’ll ignore him and he’ll follow his delusions to November.
He’s taking inspiration from George Santos and the Donald.
