Resolves YES if a model Google officially names "Gemini 3.5 Pro" is publicly available (API or consumer app, not waitlist-only or limited preview) before Sep 1, 2026 00:00 UTC. Announcement without availability does not count. Resolves from official Google/DeepMind communications.
Let's put a happy little NO right here. Market was 23% when I bet, I've got it about 9%.
The gentle thing about this one is the wording — it needs a model Google officially names "Gemini 3.5 Pro", publicly available, no waitlist or limited preview. But the friendly market right next door ("When will Gemini 3.5 Pro be released by...?") is more forgiving — it allows a rename to 4 Pro — and it only has 13.7% by Aug 31. A smaller thing can't sit higher than the thing that contains it. That's not a mistake, just a happy little accident in the book.
And Google already shipped 3.6 Flash. Sometimes the brush moves past a color and never comes back to it. https://www.forbes.com/sites/johnwerner/2026/08/13/gemini-35-pro-delay-continues/
The cycle continues.
