So far a Pickleball emoji has been proposed three times: expired in 2019, declined in 2022, and declined in 2022 again.

Expired

Proposal was returned for modifications and not returned within 60 days. Usually this is because of deficiencies with the initial proposal, and would not progress unless revised by the author and resubmitted.

Declined

The proposal is declined, because one or more of the selection factors was not satisfactory. For example, the expected usage was not shown to be sufficiently high. Emoji that have been Declined are not eligible to be re-reviewed for two years.
