@mint was anything even announced for today? i wasnt sure why it was bet up so high cc @ByrneHobart my resident advisor
@strutheo yes its supposed to IPO today. The NYSE is full of Reddit branding... it will definitely IPO today I'm just not sure if it'll be before noon at this point
@strutheo They priced the IPO last night at $34, which afaik means they plan to IPO today, but it can take some time for the order book to build up for the first trade to happen. I'm trying to find some level 2 data to see how close the orders are.
@ByrneHobart based on current understanding - the ipo is fully complete and trading can begin (even if it does not begin right that minute, i dont know how long it takes to 'turn the systems on' once they are legally / formally listed)
@strutheo So, usually pricing happens on one day and it starts trading some time the next morning. So would a WSJ article saying it priced count, or would we need to wait for the first stock quote?
@ByrneHobart oh that gets a bit tricky then. there is never a gap of time between the price announce and trading the next day?
then if they can be traded before noon on march 21st this will resolve YES
