I responded to a comment recently and when I typed a letter, followed by a dot and a space, it changed into the @ sign and the username.

I have seen it, but it doesn't happen immediately: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/721896228350197841/998402082665148456/bug_in_MM_when_typing_answers.gif

@Forrest I was able to reproduce something like this by buying/selling shares while I had the text box open, and had removed the leading "@name". It also worked with text that did not include "M." When trying to reproduce the example you showed, I could not make it work.

I currently suspect that it doesn't depend on what you type, though I'd've thought this market would still resolve true in that case.
Proof: anyone click reply to Forrest and then type a t then a period. Results: T.@Forrest
Test M. Test
Seems to work fine.
@UnconditionalProbability try it in a reply to somebody else's comment. A word, then a dot and a space.
