Letby's new legal team have said they will make an application to the CCRC asking for them to refer her case base to the Court of Appeal.

This market will resolve YES if:

• Her legal teams makes a submission to the CCRC, and the CCRC refers the case back to the Court of Appeal

It will resolve NO if:

• Her legal team has made no submission to the CCRC before 1st September 2026

• Her legal team makes a submission to the CCRC, and they decline to refer it to the Court of Appeal

The deadline will be extended if either:

• A submission has been made, but the CCRC has not started to review it

• A submission has been made, and the CCRC is reviewing it

Note that this market will resolve on her initial submission to the CCRC - a second one if the first fails won't count, it will already be resolved NO. If she is exonerated via some other route, or for any other reason an application to the CCRC becomes irrelevant (e.g. the CCRC is dissolved) I will partially resolve the market at the % it was when that event officially occurs. The spirit of the market is about the CCRC's decision rather than her actual fate.

I think these resolution criteria are less ambiguous than in this related market. I will be trading in this market.
