War is a tool, war is a hammer, and war is either a potentially potent medicine with great side effects or an unpredictable poison. I like it used as such as much as I hate it, so therefore I like it.

I think war is peak homo sapiens, beautiful thing to watch in its purity. A natural corollary of people sucking up to the most charismatic person in the room in every social situation.

You cannot be a humanist without appreciating war.
